Giving in obedience, sacrifice, and love is a gift in and of itself. We trust that the Lord will supply every need in the same way of Acts 2. "And they devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.
We don't give out of obligation or to earn God's favor- we give out of an overflowing heart to Jesus and His church, all to the glory of the Father.
